I am a researcher with broad expertise in efficient algorithms, software engineering and data analysis. During my PhD, my research was focussed on the design and analysis of efficient algorithms for applied problems, such as protein identification, DNA sequencing, and coordination of robots. Then I left academia and gathered valuable experiences as software engineer and architect. Finally, I became Head of IT in a software company for social media monitoring, which was later bought by Microsoft. Since 2012, I am associate professor (Dozent) at ZHAW.
